About the iPhone 11 screen adhesive
This iPhone 11 screen adhesive holds the screen firmly to the frame. The factory adhesive tears as soon as the screen is lifted and cannot be stuck back down, so a new one is needed whenever the screen comes off, for a screen replacement or any repair inside the phone. It is pre-cut to the screen outline, so there is no measuring or trimming.
Fitted properly, it keeps the screen sitting flush with the frame, with no edge lifting under your thumb and no gap for dirt to collect in.
You get one pre-cut adhesive on its protective liner, as pictured. It is single use: once it is down, it cannot be lifted and reused.
Water resistance: a new adhesive is not guaranteed to restore water or dust resistance. Factory seals are applied with pressing equipment a repair bench cannot match, so keep a repaired phone away from water.

How to fit the iPhone 11 screen adhesive
- Remove every trace of the old adhesive from the frame. A plastic pry tool or spudger does it without scratching.
- Wipe the frame with isopropyl alcohol and let it dry completely.
- Connect and test the screen before you stick anything down, so the phone only needs closing once.
- Peel the backing, line the adhesive up with the frame and press it down all the way round, then remove the top liner.
- Reconnect the screen, lower it into place and press evenly around the edges. Keep gentle pressure on it with a screen clamp while the adhesive bonds.
