About this OPPO battery adhesive

Every OPPO battery we sell ships cell-only, with no adhesive fitted. This is the strip that holds the new cell in place: peel-and-stick, pre-cut, one strip per battery.

It is a single generic size that fits the battery bay on OPPO A Series, Find X Series and Reno Series phones. Foldables are not covered: their battery wells and hinge clearances differ too much for one strip to fit both.

How to fit it

  1. Clear every trace of the old adhesive from the battery bay.
  2. Wipe the bay with isopropyl alcohol and let it dry completely.
  3. Peel the liner and line the strip up before it touches: once it sticks, it cannot be repositioned.
  4. Press the new battery down onto the strip, evenly across the cell.
  5. Reconnect the battery and check the phone boots and charges before closing it.

Frequently asked questions

Which OPPO phones does this fit?

Any OPPO A Series, Find X Series or Reno Series phone taking a standard rectangular battery. It is not for the Find N Series foldables.

Do I need one every time the battery is replaced?

Yes. Once it is stuck down it cannot be reused, so every battery replacement needs a fresh strip.

Is it the same size for every model?

It is cut generously enough to cover the range of A Series, Find X Series and Reno Series battery bays. Trim any overhang against the bay edge before fitting the battery.
