In Stock!Start with the series, not the model
Samsung runs more parallel model lines than any other brand stocked here, and the most common ordering mistake is buying an A series part for an S series handset because the names look alike. Parts are filed by series first for exactly that reason.
Galaxy A series: screens, batteries, charging ports, speakers, motherboard flex and power and volume flex
Galaxy S series: screens, batteries, cameras, camera lenses, charging ports and flex
Galaxy Note series screens, batteries and charging ports
Galaxy Z fold and flip: screens, batteries, charging ports and back cover adhesive
Galaxy Tab across the Tab A and Tab S series
Galaxy XCover for rugged handsets used in the field
Finding your model number
Open Settings, then About phone, and read the Model number rather than the marketing name. It begins with SM, and it is the only reliable identifier when a range includes Standard, Plus, Ultra and FE versions of the same generation released months apart.
Screens with and without the frame
This is the question that decides how a Galaxy screen repair is done. Some replacement screens ship bonded to the frame, which makes for a faster and more reliable repair. Others are the panel alone and require transferring the original frame, which needs heat, patience and more skill. Each listing states which it is, and the price difference between the two is usually explained by that alone.
Sourcing Samsung parts in New Zealand
GA Tech NZ repairs Samsung devices daily and stocks parts locally, so New Zealand repair shops are not waiting on offshore freight with a customer’s handset in pieces. Stock is held in Queenstown rather than ordered in per sale, so orders placed before the 2pm cut-off dispatch the same working day and reach most New Zealand addresses overnight. Local pickup is available by appointment, and repair shops and resellers can request trade pricing through wholesale deals.
Bench tools are under repair tools, and workshop repairs are available if you would rather not do it yourself.
Samsung parts questions answered
How do I find my Samsung model number?
Open Settings, then About phone, and read the Model number beginning with SM. Match that number rather than the marketing name before ordering.
Are Galaxy screens supplied with the frame?
It varies by model and by part. Each listing states whether the frame is included, which changes both the price and the repair method.
Does a Galaxy repair need new adhesive?
Yes for any device with a glued screen or back cover. Battery adhesive and back cover adhesive are stocked separately by series.
Do you stock parts for older Galaxy models?
Where supply allows. If a model is not listed, use the Request a Part form and we will confirm availability and lead time before you commit.
