Replacement base feet for the MacBook Pro 13-inch

Base feet dry out and peel off, and once one is gone the machine rocks and slides on a desk. They also lift the base enough for air to move underneath, so a missing foot is a cooling problem as much as a cosmetic one.

The 2016 redesign changed the base profile, so feet from the older A1502 and A1425 do not sit flush on these models.

Questions answered

Do these come with adhesive?

Yes. Clean the old adhesive off the base fully before fitting, or the new foot will not sit flat and will lift again.

Can I fit these myself?

Yes. This is one of the few MacBook parts that needs no disassembly at all.

Does a missing foot matter?

More than it looks. The feet lift the base enough for air to reach the vents, so running without them makes the machine warmer as well as unsteady.
