Samsung Galaxy Note Series Replacement Batteries

Samsung Galaxy Note series replacement battery, front and back
Replacement batteries for Samsung Galaxy Note phones, zero-cycle cells matched to the original part. Held in NZ, same-day dispatch before 2pm.

Replacement batteries for Samsung Galaxy Note series devices, stocked in Queenstown for repair shops and DIY repairers. Each listing is one pack, matched to Samsung’s own part number, and the cells are zero-cycle: they have not been charged or discharged before they reach you.

When a battery is the problem

A device that shuts down with charge still showing, runs hot doing very little, or needs a charger by lunchtime has a worn cell rather than a fault. Capacity drops with every charge cycle, and the fall becomes obvious somewhere around the two year mark in daily use.

Choosing the right pack

Samsung has retired the Note line, so this list is short and stays that way. These phones are now well past the age where a tired battery is the main thing holding them back, and a new cell is usually the cheapest way to keep one in service.

Find your model number in Settings, then About phone, then Model number, and match it to the list on the product page. Capacity, shape and connector all change between models, so a pack from a neighbouring model will not do.

What comes with each pack

The product page lists what is included with each pack. Adhesive is what holds the cell and the cover in place, so check what you have before you start: it is under Galaxy Note series battery adhesive, and pry tools and spudgers are in our repair tools range.

Fitting it safely

Disconnect the battery before anything else, lift the old cell with a plastic tool rather than anything metal, and never puncture or bend a pack. A swollen cell should come out promptly and be recycled, not stored. If you would rather we did it, prices are on our Samsung repair prices page.

Buying in New Zealand

Everything here is held locally rather than ordered in per sale, so a repair booked in the morning is not waiting on offshore freight. Orders placed before the 2pm cut-off dispatch the same working day and reach most New Zealand addresses overnight. Everything else for these devices is under Galaxy Note series spare parts, and repair shops can apply for trade pricing through wholesale deals.

Questions answered

Is it worth replacing the battery in a phone this old?
Often yes. If the screen and body are sound, a new cell is the cheapest way to get another couple of years out of it.
How long does a replacement battery last?
A new cell holds most of its capacity for roughly 500 full charge cycles, which is about two to three years of normal use, then starts to fade the way the original did.
Are these genuine Samsung batteries?
No. They are aftermarket cells built to the original specification, with the same capacity, voltage and physical size as the pack they replace. Each product page lists the Samsung part number they match.
Will the phone still report battery health?
Aftermarket cells often cannot pass health data to the device, and some models show a service message. The battery itself charges and runs normally.
My device is swelling. What should I do?
Stop using it and stop charging it. A swollen cell presses on the screen and should be replaced promptly. Do not puncture or bend it.
What warranty comes with a battery?
Six months against manufacturing defects. Damage caused while fitting, punctures and physical damage are not covered.
