Touch or non-touch, and why it matters

Many Lenovo laptops ship in both touch and non-touch versions of the same model, and the panels are not interchangeable. Fitting a non-touch panel to a touch machine gives a working picture and a dead touch layer. Confirm which the machine has before ordering, and match the panel part number from the label on the existing screen.

Tablet models are handled differently, with the digitiser bonded to the display. Other Lenovo parts are under Lenovo spare parts, and fitting can be booked through the repairs service.

Usually not. The panel is supplied on its own and the existing bezel is reused.
